This dowel end cap is for covering the open ends of wood dowel or steel tube swing bar style casket handles. The tip secures in place on the end of the handle with two screws or two rivets.

This end cap for swing bar casket handles is the real vintage. We've partnered with General Machinery & Mfg. Co. of Chicago to revive these unique vintage parts--some of which have not been produced since the 1950s. Learn more about these vintage parts by reading about our suppliers.

The first thing you will notice when you receive these parts is that the steel is higher quality and heavier gage than many similar brackets made by others.

This tip is compatible with 1x1-1/4 oval steel tubing.  If you are planning to use our wooden dowel handles, use the 1x1-3/8 tip instead.

Tip is available in plain steel and in a variety of powder coated finish colors. If you have a particular color request, let us know and we can quote you. Plain steel tip are ready for finishing.
